2.2.2. Distribution Policy

Before planning your activities to make your accommodation popular and ensure a good occupancy, you need to decide on the so-called distribution policy, i.e. whether you will direct your efforts at attracting the clientele directly or you will do it via a tourism agency. Sometimes starting an accommodation, entrepreneurs combine both options. If you choose to involve a tourism agency to provide you with clients, you will need to prepare a contract form and present your business to the companies. The contract shall state the terms of reservation, payment, cancellation, responsibilities of both parties, and the rate of commission (from 5% to 20%).
