Kitchen, or food area, is the place where food is cooked and stored. The main requirements for the kitchen’s normal operation are good equipment, efficient lighting, effective ventilation system (air filters) that bans out smoke and odours, hygienic conditions of food storage and cooking and, of course, professionalism of the staff. The kitchen should be located in such a way that you could access it directly from the outdoors (via a separate entrance), as circulation of boxes with food products in front of your guests is not allowed – the only point where food and client come together should be the dining area.
If you plan starting your accommodation with only breakfast service, you should consider buying a number of basic items for cooking and storing the food products.
