Low-Flow Devices in Showers

First of all, the use of showers is preferable to baths for bringing down the volumes of water consumed.

The most effective and easy to implement is to fix in the showers and on the taps aerators, or low-flow devices. These fittings ensure that the water is mixed with pressurized air that creates the effect of normal full flow with actual reduction of water consumption by 50 - 80% without affecting guest’s comfort. This measure has special importance in winter, since it also cuts expenses for heating the water. Aerators are the best solution, more effective than application of devices stopping the flow of water after a certain period of time, since the latter can be annoying for the guests, while aerators remain unnoticed and are not expensive.
