Types of Rural Accommodations

The core activity in the accommodation business is the provision of sheltered overnight stay for a fee. A number of other than overnight stay services (activities, or opportunities offered to guests) provided by a particular accommodation are up to the owner / manager. They differ from case to case - only bed and breakfast, or serving 3 meals and beverages, or rental of sports equipment such as bikes, canoes or skis, laundry, parking, etc. Accommodation structure (space and facilities given to guests) determines the accommodation type. Accommodation types can be a small hotel, B&B, youth hostel, alpine shelter, campsite, etc. depending on the type of tourism, location of the accommodation, and needs of the main target group.
