5.2. Safe Deposit Area

Guests naturally assume that providing a comfortable accommodation, you guarantee their personal safety and security of their belongings. It is difficult to ensure security of the valuables left in each particular room, but it is possible to take on the responsibility for the things if they are put in the safe deposit areas. Therefore, in addition to the safes required for storage of the cash you receive (deposits, payments, etc) you should install safe boxes for the valuables of your guests (money, jewellery, documents, expensive compact equipment). In bigger higher class accommodations small individual safe boxes are placed in each room, while in smaller accommodations one big safe at the reception can be sufficient, if it is operated by the receptionist. The common safecan havedrawers in order to provide some privacy to guests.This service can be made available free of charge.
