This module consists of 9 sections covering the most important aspects for an entrepreneur in rural tourism. Each section contains a list of objectives, a table of contents, 3 to 7 units, and questions/tasks. Each unit covers one subject. The case study following the sections is meant to develop further understanding of the subject. At the end of the module you will find keys to the questions to each section. Some additional materials, including frequently used expressions in several languages, are meant to facilitate starting and running your own accommodation business in the future. References give you a link to more detailed literature and (internet) information on the topic.
Selected standard forms used in accommodation business are enclosed separately as files.
At the end of the course you are expected to use the learned theory to complete/or improve your own Business Plan.
