Rural Tourism Organizations

The main national professional rural tourism organization in Latvia is Latvian Country Tourism Association "Lauku ceļotājs" - a non-governmental organisation established in 1993. It unites owners of rural tourism accommodations and other stakeholders in Latvia. At the beginning of 2009, the association had around 350 members. The main goal of the association is to develop well-balanced and environmentally friendly tourism in the countryside of Latvia.
