Types of Rural Accommodations

Family hotel

A lodging facility of minimum 2 floors, usually containing more than 10 guest rooms (depending on the country). It offers at least overnight, housekeeping, luggage carrying and restaurant services, and represents a family business. Accommodations of this type have higher comfort and luxury level than other establishments in the rural tourism category. They have private bath facilities and a wide range of services sometimes including a bar, computer access, excursions, room service, sauna, banquet and seminar room, transport, etc.
