When you provide babysitting services or have a crèche/mini-kindergarten, you have a unique selling point that should be stated in the advertisement materials, and then it appears very luring for most families. For organizing adequate personal babysitting, you will need to find a reliable person living nearby who has experience in this field, loves children and looks trustworthy to the parents. If you plan to have a mini-kindergarten, do not underestimate the time, effort and responsibilities it brings. A kindergarten can prove worthy only if there are enough family travellers among your clients. Before providing this kind of service, make a try-out to check whether parents willingly leave their kids under your supervision and which hours are most likely for them to do it. You should properly equip the room taking into account all safety and hygienic measures, take care of the staff, menu, entertainment, insurance, and clearly state your opening hours, fees and conditions.
In small accommodations, the most feasible option appears provision of children services in parts. It does not require a lot of time or investment. One of the most important aspects, from the parents’ point of view, is proper entertainment that can keep their children busy. So, you can arrange a children corner with supervision near the dining area, place some toys in the common lounge, organize outdoor winter fun for children on a playground with swings, slides, small skates, skis and sleds, operate an in and outdoor mini-swimming pool, let children take care about the animals on the farm, etc.
