3.4. Guest Room
3.4.4. Less Common Arrangement of Guest Space

Shape

A room can become more interesting if arranged as a 6-angular independent wooden mini-cottage, in fact, a small self-contained retreat. It can be easily equipped with all the modern devices and be furnished as a standard room. Or, more for the people looking for more special experience, guest space can take the form of a winter log cabin, shelter, etc. So, for example, there are different types of huts that can be made of wood or with wooden frame covered with different materials, built with support of a tree. This could be a hut with a major wall leaning on two trees with one of its major long walls so that it has a ⊿-shape, a hut centred around a tree, etc. Such huts require a thick insulation not to release the heat in winter and the cold in summer - on the walls, on the floor, and especially in the sleeping area and at the entrance. The built-in sanitary cell can be also built and connected by pipes to the main building to provide sufficient comfort to the guests. The same refers to the electricity and heating systems (though the latter is more likely to be an individual gas heater).
